Everything's sound now...

Now that filming has finished we had the pleasure of continuing our work recently with Joe Gill – who plays the lead protagonist of the story – Danny.

Joe came down to narrate and record his inner monologue sections of the film for a few days in August.

Joe was directed and scripted at the sessions by our Creative Director Gino Evans. The audio recording work was carried out at our sound studios by the River, in Bewdley, in the West Midlands.

Joe Gill is a Mancunian actor who is known within the city for numerous projects. Some of his previous credits include shows such as In the Flesh, River City, Casualty, Brassic, The Sparticle Mystery, In with the Flynns, and more.

He is also known for playing the role of Finn Barton in ITV’s Emmerdale for a number of years before he embarked on the hit UK & Ireland tour of David Pugh and Simon Beaufoy’s stage adaptation of The Full Monty in which he played the troubled Lomper.

His further stage credits include The Butterfly House with freedom studios and also the world premiere of Into Battle which debuted at the Greenwich Theatre, London in 2021. More recently Joe took on the one-man play Mr Incredible which he performed at the Alphabetti Theatre, Newcastle in which The Stage described his performance as ‘Compelling’.

We are truly blessed to be working with such a talented cast and crew on our first feature film “Treading Water”
