Big North Films and APCOA Car Parks donate to “Lifeshare” homeless charity in Manchester.

We set up Big North Films to create work that would resonate with UK audiences, especially in the challenging times that we all find ourselves in.

As a film company based in Manchester we wanted to not only film in the city but also reach out to local talent and local businesses and charities to help us make our first feature “Treading Water”.

Apoca car parks were one such business, they allowed us to use their Printworks location where we filmed on the rooftop, giving us fantastic panoramas of the city – which will feature in the film.

Apoca Car Parks were brilliant – rather than taking a fee, they asked us to make a donation to a local charity that is close to them –  Lifeshare, a homeless charity based in Manchester.

Big North Films has now made a cash donation to Lifeshare on behalf of both ourselves and Apoca Car Parks.
